So, since starting my Noom journey (scale issues aside) I seem to be down about 10 – 11 lbs so far. For me it’s not coming off fast enough, but at least I feel the needle moving.
One change I made was I started going back to the gym this past weekend. Almost one full year to the day since I stopped going. I was going to wait until I was fully vaccinated but a couple things prompted me to go back early.
First, I just couldn’t stomach doing yet another home workout. Second, I’m half-vaccinated. Third, the gym nearest my place is really dead on the weekend.
The biggest lesson I’m learning is how to eat. What foods are better and how to minimize caloric intake. Also, portion control is huge for me. And difficult, because once I start eating I just wanna keep doing it.
Anyway, I think I’m feeling better. I’m working out more and walking more. And I know I’m eating healthier. so let’s see if I can sustain this progress.
