So from a work / job hunt perspective, this week wasn’t stellar. But then this happened:
Yup. My winter build-a-bike project bike is complete. And he’s pretty!
Say hello to … well, I haven’t settled on a monicker yet. Possibly Luigi. Possibly “the B”. He’s a vintage Bianchi Professional. The build includes a vintage Bianchi stem, vintage Suntour Superbe Pro brakes, vintage seat post, and vintage Brooks leather saddle.
New components are: Brooks hand grips, Deda flat bar, H Plus + Son wheels, Shimano brake levers, Shimano freewheel, and Sugino crankset.
I think he turned out sexy AF. I will eventually get a darker brown tire, but those were impossible to find this winter.
It’s gonna be 60° tomorrow- so I’m planning a good shake-out ride.
