Tidying Up

When chaos abound (like it has for the past 8 months… and 4 years…) and I start to feel anxiety at my loss of control… that’s when I start to put small things in order. Every little bit seems to help me reclaim sanity.

So small things like doing my laundry, or cleaning my kitchen, or organizing a closet get me moving in a good direction. And I start to feel better. More settled. Less anxious.

Last night I also trimmed up my hair because I was getting shaggy- and I formulated a plan for growing it out.

Yes, I have it floofed up on purpose. Just to embrace the Covid hair thing and to have fun with texture product.

I also have been doing my “virtual chorus recordings” in order to get those off my “to do” list so they aren’t hanging over my head. The recording I did last night is the one I’m most happy with.

Now to keep myself occupied until November 4th. And beyond.
