Postcards from Home

This week I’m writing from my childhood home–  well mostly from it. When I’m not at the hospital keeping mom company.

Everything is ok– she had knee replacement surgery. We’re currently about 24 hours from the surgery and she’s doing well. She has been up and about a little and at 1:30 we have the first Physical Therapy appointment.

So far I’m mostly just sitting. Checking work email, practicing my choral music, etc.

I’ll be here through the weekend to make sure she is well on the way to recovery before heading back to the minne-apple.

Never fear though– I will post woofy Wednesday pics.
