Saturday Spring

This past Saturday was a gorgeous spring day here in the Minne Apple. We had temps in the upper 60’s with a southerly wind.

It really was the first beautiful day of spring and everyone was outside for it. Bikers. Joggers. Roller bladers. Walkers. People on motorcycles and in convertibles.

I was one of those people.

It was still coolish by the lakes as the breeze blew across the still frozen surface. But all in all, it was well worth getting out and blowing the stink off.

And I managed a decent ride– not my best speeds, but it was windy and I hadn’t been on a bike in months. Well, other than Friday when I did my first bike to workload the year.

The only drawback to having such a nice day is the fact that this early in March, it’s just a tease. The weather turns colder again this week with rain and “wintry mix” in the forecast.

We probably won’t get another day like this until April.
