It Is Time

This is my last half day at work, then this evening I fly to Buffalo. Once there, I get a car and trek to Rochester for the drum corps finals– which is what I’ll be focused on until Sunday evening.

I’m a ball of nerves.

I tend to stress about all the little things– like getting to the airport in time and finding parking and making my flight and if my flight will be on time and then getting my rental car and navigating alone to Rochester, etc.

Plus there’s double checking with my cat sitter and making sure my place is set for the rest of the week and double checking my packing, etc.

Once I get to Rochester and start rehearsals, I’ll just have to worry about the show (mostly) so I’ll be better. But until then?

Anxiety.

See you on the other side. Although I may check in on Saturday evening.

Doesn’t everyone fly out together, like a group? Aren’t you all going from point A to point B?

If these good wishes are too late, then I hope things went well and that you enjoyed yourself. You are doing this for fun, after all.
