Cawfee Tawk

Remember me mentioning that I reconnected with a guy at the leather/gear night two weekends ago? And that we had a potential coffee date?

Well, that didn’t happen.

We set up a coffee date for Sunday (or as he put it “zombie Jesus day”) and I was all ready to see where it went.

But then he cancelled– something to do with work. But we should “still keep in touch”.

Story of my life.

Here I am, trying to be less of a whore and put myself out there and go on a real date (not a “date”) and this is what happens. This is kind of what happens all the time.

Well, other than when I ask a guy out only to discover he’s partnered and unavailable.

Oh well.

In brighter news, my tattoo is healing nicely. Although it is currently in the slightly itchy, peely phase. Pics to come later this week. ?

Hang in there. The right man is out there for you. You just haven’t bumped into one another yet.

  2. ok, let’s give cawfee dude the benefit of the doubt. try another cawfee date; if he bails on you a second time, HE is a LOSER.

PS – and thanks for using phillyspeak for “coffee” 🙂

Ha ha about “zombie Jesus day” (unless that offends you). A fave T-shirt I wore out was one of My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult’s featuring the words “Xian Zombie Vampire.” I believe the graphic may have been blasphemous.

Sorry about the flake. Perhaps follow-up in a week or so, as Anne Marie suggested.

You’re only a whore if you get paid (not that there’s anything wrong with that, either), so enough of that nonsense. If on-line isn’t giving you more than “dates”, then please keep hitting that leather bar. Frequency might help you to network with some guys who can play matchmaker.

I was wondering about the tattoo aftercare your artist recommended. For my first one, I was told to use hemorrhoid cream, for both emollient and anti-inflammatory purposes. It worked well, but afterwards I was told that was crazy. Anyway, just curious. Glad yours seems to be healing well. Will you need touch-up after the initial healing, since it was so intricate?
