Good Sunday

Well, it was good for the most part. A bit lonesome, but the weather was fantastic!

It was clear, warm (74!!), a tad bit humid, and wonderful, so I went on my first long bike ride of the season. The only unfortunate aspect was that everyone in the cities had the same idea.

I hate it when novice bikers are out in force for the first time and they’re wobbling all over the bike paths. And riding like 3 abreast and taking the whole path.

Still, it was nice to finally get out on the Cannondale and get some fresh air!

This is me midway through the ride– at Lake of the Isles. Talk about fancy homes!!

And here’s me at Cedar Lake:

Check out the house behind me. It’s my favorite in the twin cities! Here’s a better look:

I desperately want to see the inside of it!

The rest of my Saturday was spent reading, napping, cleaning, and generally wishing I was with a group of friends on an outdoor patio drinking margaritas.

I am really looking forward to more nice weather now. This one fantastic day has made me long for more. >

Too bad the helmut had to cover the new hair. Maybe you could drop them a card requesting a tour? Couldn’t hurt.
