Well, it’s finally happened– I have a new office. In other words, my boss finally sorted/cleaned/pitched/moved his rat’s nest of crap to his new office upstairs (which has been vacant 1.5 months waiting for him) and I moved into his old office.
I no longer share an office space.
And I have a door.
And I’ve already gotten rid of a shelf unit and a table that were just magnets for clutter.
Here’s a view toward my ugly window and 1950’s built-ins:

So now it finally feels like I’m in my new position. I’m planning to meet with my “team” next week where we’ll talk about my expectations, and brainstorm ideas for change.
And since it’s spring and changes are afoot at work, I think I’m going to do some personal changing too. It’s as good a time as any to work on changing habits and to focus more energy on self-improvement things. Or special projects. Or hell, getting in better shape.
I think. That’s the plan anyway. We’ll see how it goes.;
Damn, you’re so freakin adorable! sigh…………
hello dr. evil! 😉
glad you got that shot of adrenaline. it’s just the kick in the butt you needed. ….and those drop ceiling tiles are to die for!
