Yesterday I felt like crap. So much so that I left work after one whole hour.
Massive headache. Nauseous. Muscle fatigue. Dizzy.
I had woken up with a mild headache, but went to work anyway. I mean, I’ve felt worse and managed a day at work. Besides, I’m on PTO at work, so being sick is like losing a vacation day.
Anyway, in that one hour, things degraded. I couldn’t focus and I was so tired…. And when I went to the bathroom to splash water on my face I was green. So I called it quits.
I made it home and to bed– where I slept for four hours. I got up, went to the couch, lay there about 30 minutes before tossing my cookies. And tossing them again.
I didn’t have really anything in me at that point, so it was a lot of empty heaving. And bile.
Then more sleeping.
By 6 I could stomach soda and a pb&j. Then it was off to bad at 9:30.
It is only just within the past hour at work that I’m starting to feel decent. (I still had the vestiges of a headache today).
I’m convinced that it was something I ate. At least that’s what I’m gravitating to. Maybe it was a true migraine, I don’t know.
It was weird though. And not fun.

Sounds like a good old case of food poisoning. The stomach ejecting it’s contest is a pretty gohttp://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=885661od indicator. And the immune system goes into overdrive too.
Oh and me – I was awake most of the night. I don’t normally drink a lot of coffee. But three cups of it yesterday was enough to put plenty of caffeine in my system. Not used to that.
Get better. Here’s hoping that your new position gave you more PTO.
