Soda streaming, that is.
Okay, so I was a bit bored this past weekend (always dangerous for me) and I happened to be going through Target when I saw the Sodastreams.
Now, I’ve been tempted by these before, because I do like flavored carbonated water as a beverage (preferably without sugar and caffeine). But I hadn’t pulled the trigger.
Mainly because someone I know had a mishap with the one I bought him for Christmas and sent shrapnel all over his kitchen. The thing made it a whole month.
And this is why We can’t have nice things, right Kyle?
Anyway…
Target had a basic black starter kit and it was on sale. So…
Looks good. And worked like a champ making diet grapefruit soda!
I may or may not have worn safety glasses when running it though.
I have one and I love it ! It looks different than yours, it makes 1 L bottles at a time.
Looks like fun!
I’ve had mine for about a year and 3 months. I love being able to make carbonated water whenever I need it. Instead of using the syrups to flavor it, I use it to make carbonated water to dilute the sugar and calories of Coke, or to add some fizz to fruit juice.
Target? man, i hope you paid in cash. their credit shit is STILL fucked up.
For about $150 initial outlay you can build a carbonation rig of your own. Go here:

I’ll stick with my Florida oranges and Coors Beer.
