Let it Sn… NO!!

It started.

Well, technically it started a month ago with the first cold snaps, but today it has begun in earnest. Lots of snow. Lots of wet. Lots of traffic snarls.

And then comes the cold. An early season arctic blast hits tonight/tomorrow which will guarantee that this wet, snowball snow will turn into a hard pack of grody ice.

Here’s part of our 10 day forecast:

Highs in the single digits. Lows in the negative teens. These are late January temps folks– and hitting the first week of December.

I know I bitch about Minnesota weather a lot, but really it only gets me down when it is unseasonably cold and shitty. Like when winter extended into May this past year.

Or this early frigid blast.

    You need a snuggle buddy……

  2. I second chip; and you need to work from home. I could never survive an MSP winter.

Bottom dropped out of the temperatures this afternoon. My car had a nice glaze of ice on it. Ugh.

And that is why I could not live in Minnesota! I’d rather have the 100 degree temps than the single digits!

Oh man – fuck that! Here in Providence, RI it was 50F today and bright, clear and sunny. And you can keep the snow. I fucking hate snow.

  6. Crap. We’re getting similar here in Arkansas. Similar as in just about 10° warmer here. I guess this is the repercussion of all that Aqua Net y’all used in the 80s…
