Well, technically it started a month ago with the first cold snaps, but today it has begun in earnest. Lots of snow. Lots of wet. Lots of traffic snarls.
And then comes the cold. An early season arctic blast hits tonight/tomorrow which will guarantee that this wet, snowball snow will turn into a hard pack of grody ice.
Here’s part of our 10 day forecast:
Highs in the single digits. Lows in the negative teens. These are late January temps folks– and hitting the first week of December.
I know I bitch about Minnesota weather a lot, but really it only gets me down when it is unseasonably cold and shitty. Like when winter extended into May this past year.
Or this early frigid blast.
