Jealous and Heartsick

Oh my god.

Banksy is in NYC, and as a stunt he (she) set up a street booth selling original, signed graffiti art for…

$60.

Sixty bucks for an original signed Banksy on canvas. And do you know how much they would really sell for?

About $30,000– give or take.

And the gut punch of it all? Nobody noticed. A couple people bought some art, but they had NO CLUE what they were buying!!! NONE!!!

These people just walked away with thousands of dollars in art– for pennies.

Here’s the youtube video if it going down:

I am honestly sick to my stomach watching this. Ugh.

Imagine if you live in NYC!

Not being a curator of art I’m afraid I wouldn’t have recognized him or his name either.

Very interesting! I’ve heard that in selling *anything* it’s worth more when you know the story behind it.

I mean if you see that on the street, you’d probably question it’s authenticity, You’d probably think it’s an imposter.

I don’t see his appeal – and he seems to be quite overrated.
