What’s the most romantic thing you’ve ever done?
Being perpetually single, I’ve never had any occasion to be romantic, so I guess this is TBD.
Can I just put the tip in?
No. Because my motto is “in for a penny, in for a pound”. And everyone knows I enjoy a good pounding.
Have you ever considered moving to a different city, state or country?
I’ve lived in Iowa, Illinois, North Carolina and now Minnesota. If I could find a way, I’d love to live abroad and be an ex-pat for awhile.

No plans to visit Memphis any time soon, I’m afraid. But I’ll keep you posted.
Indoors or outdoors?
I like being outdoors, which is why I like drum corps. But if you meant for sex– then it’s indoors. Not that outdoors isn’t fun— it just tends to invite mosquito bites, poison ivy, flies, sunburn, sand, chafing, etc.
How is your dad doing?
Dad is ok. He’s a bit lonesome and going stir crazy. And has his ups and downs, emotionally. But he’s doing ok.
Did you ever march with a DCI corps? If so, which one?
Yup. Marched with the Cavaliers back in 1989.
Are you from MN?
Not originally, no. I’m an Iowan.
Why did you choose to live in MN?
I tried living in North Carolina, and I learned that I’m a Midwestern boy through and through. Plus I’m an only child and wanted to move closer to my parents as they are getting older. I wanted a gay, large metropolitan area that was close enough for an easy drive home. Minneapolis works for that.
As you currently live in MN, is Michele Bachmann your state representative? If Bachmann is your state rep, how do you stand living in an area represented by such a dumb, evil C U Next Tuesday?
No, she is not my Rep. She is in a gerrymandered district that is north and includes lots of rural dumbfucks.
What did you study in college?
Materials Science and Engineering with an emphasis in Metallurgy.
Do you have any bad habits?
I don’t have anything that I’d consider a habit (like drinking or smoking or drugs or overeating or biting my toenails….). There are things I could always do better on diet-wise and in my interpersonal relationships.
Do you consider yourself to be disciplined?
Yeah, I’m fairly disciplined. I have goals and routines and regimens that I stick to, and I like to create organized plans of attack for projects, etc.
P.S. Mr. Rubright, I have not forgotten about you, but I keep forgetting to take pics of my tattoos. That will be a video post tomorrow.

Totally loving these q&a posts. In one of your answers today you mentioned your perpetually single status. Since I’ve gotten to know you through your blog, I see you as “…full of charm and appeal. Handsome, elegant, intelligent, sweet…You’re really ideal.” Why do you think you’re still single and do you think that after being single for so long, you’ll ever be able to live with someone human?
