Wow– I actually got quite a few questions from y’all! So I’ll start tackling them in the order they were presented. This will probably take a few days so bear with me:

Whatever happened to Derrick?

Derrick is still around, and we hang out from time to time. Also trade cat sitting, etc. He’s still a super nice guy, but as with everything with me, I pretty much just drifted away into my own life stuff. Plus winter is a hard time– it puts a damper on riding a bike over so scheduling becomes more difficult.

Boxers or Briefs?

Whatever happened to Ladd ?? (Fey salesman)

He’s still around, but I don’t deal with him directly anymore so I hardly ever see him. You should ask me about Vince the quality guy from Chrysler….

Top five favorite blogs to read ??

Honestly, I don’t have a top 5. And I’m a terrible blog reader. I try to carve out time on Saturday mornings to go through my blog roll and catch up. I would say that my favorites are people who actually post something almost every day.

Have you had a competition yet with your ‘shared bedroom wall’ neighbor?

Oh yes I have. Just the other weekend. Right in the middle of my sexytime, we heard them. I am pleased to report that my side went louder and longer. Twice.

How was the trip to Palm Springs? Any, umm, err, exciting things to share?

Palm Springs was very… Fulfilling. But details are best shared in a more private setting.

I will say that I did meet a very nice couple while there…..

I’ve lived in several places, and always liked two bathrooms, one for me and one for guests. Always kept the guest bathroom immaculate. Did not keep my bathroom as immaculate…..I guess one bedroom/one bathroom is working out for you? You strike me as someone who does not like clutter.

You are right, I do not like clutter. But even worse to me is wasted space. I can’t see the point of having extra rooms that I don’t use except when occasional people show up.

My ideal would be living in 400 brilliantly engineered square feet. With Murphy beds, collapsible tables, clever shelving, etc.

Where do you write your entries, and what time of day ?

I write whenever I have a moment during the day– or sometimes the night before. I almost exclusively write on my iPhone.

How’s Colby Keller these days. Keep in touch?

They basically disavowed me right after leaving so I don’t really keep up– other than via twitter and his blog.

Have you ever tried a food that you wound up not liking?

Liver. And tongue. Because of this, I’ve basically sworn off eating any organ meat that isn’t currently “attached”.

Have you tried a food you never thought you would like but now you love?

Sushi. Specifically Unagi. There was a to when the thought of eating eel would make me gag— but damn, I live that stuff!

If you could take a month off, where would you go and what would you do?

Depends. If money were no object I would go to Europe and bum around. Hit London, Amsterdam, Paris, Rome, Florence, Barcelona…

Or a better option might be renting a quiet cabin somewhere and working on writing a novel.

If you were downsizing and could only take 5 books, which ones would they be?

The Great Gatsby, Les Miserables, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, The Big Penis Book, and my confirmation Bible.

(What? I should probably read the damn thing at some point.)

Honestly I didn’t know about it. But even if I did, it’s a bit far to travel when I don’t know even who would be there. And also… Delaware? In winter? Really?? Why not just have everyone meet in Kearney, Nebraska?? Cripes!
