A Whore for ManBags

I have a problem. I admit it.

I am a whore for ManBags. Satchels. Messenger bags. Murses. I simply can’t have enough of them.

They’re one of my accessories of choice. Like shoes. Or watches. (Which I also have tons of as well).

Anyway– while I was in Palm Springs, browsing the stores along Palm Canyon, I spied a store called Bolsa.

That’s Spanish for “bag”.

Which is where I found this:

Handmade. From all recycled/repurposed materials! Look closer:

The shoulder strap is a seat belt. The adjusting clip is also some sort of recycled belt clasp. And the bag itself is stitched together from inner tubes!

Even the zipper pull is a presta valve:

They actually had several messenger bag styles as well as other bags. All made from repurposed materials. This one spoke to me and I loved the colors, etc.

So it is now mine.

It was definitely a cool store. You should check it out online: Bolsa Palm Springs.

I’m a whore for the same things! Plus backpacks. And tote bags. And certain kinds of luggage. We should form a support group.

Do your shoes match your bag or your belt?

Umm… I lug around a booksack to work… it’s a tad manlier while serving the same purpose. Ahem.

WOW…I love Bolsa too! The wallets made from neckties are my favorite, especially their names and descriptions.

Very cool-looking bag, and the fact that its made of recycled/repurposed materials makes it even cooler!
