Where has I been and why hadn’t I heard of this game???
It is so fucking funny! It’s billed as a card game for horrible people. Which I am!
Someone brought this on our drum corps bus trip this weekend– it was the perfect group for a game like this.
Basically the premise is that there is a black “question” card that is drawn each round by a judge, and the other players choose one of 10 “answer” cards in their hand to play in order to make the funniest, darkest, most racist or inappropriate answer possible.
For example (this is a mild one):
Or better yet (this is more typical):
You rotate judging responsibilities, and points are scored if the judge for that hand chooses your card as the “best” answer.
So playing to the judge’s sensibilities helps you win.
I guess it’s similar to “Apples to Apples”– but for nasty adults with filthy, filthy minds.
It’s simple and brilliant, I tell you.
There are some real surprise cards in the deck which I will try not to spoil. However, I will say that when it was my first turn to judge, I laughed so hard I was literally crying and couldn’t breathe.
The question that round was:
_________? High five, bro.
The winning answer that had me gasping?
Jacking off into a pool of children’s tears.
How could you NOT love a game that had that as an answer choice?
