It’s been almost 2 months exactly since I had the LASIK surgery, and so far so good.
No complications to speak of, and the vision is pretty clear in both eyes. I do notice the vision goes a bit when my eyes get dry, so I am still using the rewetting drops.
The only negative I’ve noticed is trying to read small print in low light conditions. But to be honest, I’m not sure how well I saw in low light before, so….
Oh, and I guess there is the whole genetic eye-bag thing.
The most surprising change is that I now don’t even recognize myself in glasses. For example, when I see my Driver’s License photo, I just looks so… Foreign.
And I don’t mean French. It’s like I don’t recognize the guy in the pic.
The best change, other than being able to actually see, is that I am seeing more guys “take notice”.
I always knew guys didn’t make passes at guys who wear glasses, but now I SEE it!
Look Ma! No scars!
My vision isn’t bad enough to require glasses. I have a mild astigmatism that is the cause. But I do find my low light smaller text fading slightly. Getting older sucks!
WOOF! 🙂
Well, I think you’re a handsome fella with or without glasses. And your glasses always complemented your face. Though it would be nice not to have to deal with them fogging up in winter and covered in sweat in summer.
