I totally forgot to blog yesterday! I feel so… Pococurante.
Yeah. I typed that.
Anyway- I just wanted to flash y’all a few pics and talk about my weekend a bit.
First of all- I now have a completed coffee table replete with casters!
The coffee table is a custom piece by this local artist- but it was always a bit too low for my taste.
I mean, my living room isn’t a Japanese restaurant for christ’s sake!
So I came up with the caster idea to make the table mobile and industrial– and to raise it 3 inches.
A guy at work found the hardware I needed, a few minutes with a welder at work, and voila!
Neat huh?
I also found a rug for under my dining table:
It was found at Dock 86- a discount furniture store. Kyle talked me into it- and I think it was a good decision.
It’s 100% wool too- none of that polyester shit for MY floor!
And speaking of floors- the last find of the weekend was a Shark steam mop!
Again, Kyle saw they were on sale at Target– so now I can clean my floors with no cleaner residue!
Add to the mix some chillaxing, a little sex, and a music rehearsal, and you get a fairly successful weekend.

CB: I cannot tell you how much I love your space and what you’re doing with it. From what I see in the pics, this is EXACTLY the kind of space in which I hope the hub and I wind up living/owning. I really enjoy your excitement about it and I’m very happy for you; and I really really hope, some day, I have a picture of you and me standing somewhere in your awesome home…
