Or would it be “fetishisto” since I’m male?
Anyway, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I definitely have a fetish for shoes and watches. And belts. And pretty much any “accessory” item.
Which is why it is extremely dangerous for me to shop at Nordstrom Rack.
Because I wrecked my work Dr Martins last week, I wanted to hit the Rack for a cheap replacement pair. You can seriously get Docs there for 40 – 50 bucks cheaper than retail.
And I did find some new docs:
They are squishy comfy and seemed to work well on the greasy floors at work. This is why I buy Docs for work– they are the only shoe that isn’t all slippy. I have yet to give them the speed walk test tho.
Unfortunately, along with the Dr Martins, I found these beauties which I simply HAD to have. Kyle and I nearly got into a slapfight over them:
Yes, these silver beauties have quickly become my favorite pair of shoes! I think I will be wearing these fuckers OUT! (Insert squeeee here)
But unfortunately Kyle also pointed out the watch section near the checkout area. And with another squeee of delight, I found this:
White, rubber watch band… black digital face with contrast time. Love. It.
I also bought a short sleeve English Laundry polo-type shirt. Pics to come on friday.
Oh, and I totally would have scored a new belt that day, too, had the cool designer belts actually come in “big boy” sizes. But alas, they didn’t. Which was probably a good thing because I still spent a heft chunk o’ change.
So sure, maaaaaaybe I overspent a teensy bit… but since the stuff was all from Nordstrom Rack, I have the illusion that I actually saved money overall.
So, tell me. Did I do good?
