Ok- I’m totally geeked about my new camera now.
I have one of them thar fancy Sony Cybershots (DSC-H3). Its sort of a “so advanced, its simple– unless you don’t read the manual” type camera. And since I’m not one for all that fancy book-learnin’, I was having issues.
The ‘point and shoot’ in full auto mode thing I got. And truthfully, Sony is awesome at making buttons and menus fairly intuitive. But I have been trying to figure out the tricksy things, like how to take pictures where the subject is in focus but the background isn’t. Things that I could do with ye olde style SLRs.
My subjects for this shoot were my two orchids and my curly, good luck bamboo. Here are my results:
Whaddaya think? Don’t get uber critical on me, though; I’m still learning the camera and how to adjust the settings. Plus, I haven’t done any photography photography for awhile.
