Say hello to my new Rollerblades.
Well, technically these aren’t “Rollerblades”. They’re K2’s. Yeah, I’m a traitor. After my brilliant run with the Rollerblade brand, I completely switched to K2’s. They get better reviewed than Rollerblades and they use a lot of skiboot technology.
Let me just say, the fuckers are sooooo comfortable! Night and day from my old ‘blades. My feet actually feel good in them!
I took them out on an inaugural blade today, and even fighting the wind, they did an excellent job. However they are built more for speed than for maneuverability– just get a load of the huge ass wheels on them!

On a separate note:
I want YOU to see the Dark Knight. This weekend. Don’t delay.
Kyle and I saw this movie last night, and I’m not even going to bother reviewing it. It is by far the best of the Batman movies. Hands down. No contest. Not even close.
This is like the “Empire Strikes Back” of the Batman franchise. Some of the others are good in comparison, some royally suck, but this one stands out as the crown jewel.
It’s very dark. It’s very violent. Shockingly so on both counts. Heath is fantastic as the Joker; you absolutely loathe him within the first 5 minutes of the movie as all truly great villains do.
I was completely engaged for the entire movie, which is saying something coming from a decidedly UN-fanboy of the Dark Knight.
This movie didn’t suck in direct proportion to how much Mamma Mia DID suck.
I’m trying to motivate my ass to get there tonight.
Maybe 10-15 minutes longer than it should’ve been, but that’s more my bladder talking than my head. Brilliant movie, brilliant re-imagining of the legend by Nolan and kick-ass performances by all. Eckhart’s spectacular Dent — which actually has an amazing arc — will, sadly, be overlooked in favour of the (deserved) praise lavished on Ledger.
I’ve never been a fan of the Batman series.
The blades look swift, cb. As the pic downloaded top to bottom I first thought it was a ski boot. Glad you got a nice new pair that are comfortable and fun to roll in.
As for the Dark Knight, I’ll let others enjoy it in my place. A bit too grim for me.
Just saw The Dark Knight last night. Run(or skip), don’t walk to see this movie. Heath Ledger was fanatastic as the Joker!
I’ll have to go see the Dark Knight upon your review. You are like a picky bitch, so I trust your judgement.
BTW – I am glad you are roller skating and doing something cardio related. That’s good for the pudge reduction program you have in place (or should).
OH WOW! They look so fecking hot buddy. I have a pair too that are practically brand new but for obvious reasons I don’t get to use them
