I liked Mpls/St Paul well enough, but after my job vanished so some asshat exec could get his bonus and failing to find another that paid even close, I had to move on.

oh and while winters aren’t the grim horror that is popularly assumed, you’ll get at least one week of -10F, or lower.

I’d move to Minneapolis in a second, and summer is a great introduction. Winter there is a challenge but not as much of one as summer in Florida or Atlanta — at least for me!

Congrats on the big move. I was in the same position (not that one) as you three month ago. Change is good, and it’s not bad to have Kyle as your new neighbor. Look out for him.

How exciting! Think of it as a great adventure in your life. I’ve only been to the airport in Minneapolis on a layover where I sat across from “Baby Man” from the show Make Me Laugh. I understand it is wonderful there. Good luck!
